How does my business move up a level?
A level is earned when all applicable mandatory requirements for that level and the preceding levels are verified and current. A score or a service purchase cannot award a level.
Do I have to pay to progress?
Progression through the framework is free. You can choose paid specialist support to resolve a gap, but buying a service never replaces the verification requirements.
What happens when a document expires?
Requirements must remain current. Expired or revoked evidence can affect your level and any associated verification status until the requirement is reviewed again.
What if a requirement does not apply to my business?
You can request an applicability review. A requirement can only be treated as not applicable after an authorised review under the framework rules.
Does a level guarantee funding?
No. The framework helps you organise your business and demonstrate readiness. Lenders, funders and commercial partners make their own independent decisions.
